And I always knew you could buy Prime subscriptions for other people as gifts for the regular $99/year fee. But I just discovered there’s another gift option available: $33 for a 3-month membership. I don’t know if that option is fairly new, or if I’ve just been clueless about it for a long time. (Jus don’t ask me which one I’m putting my money on… ????)
Either way, that price seems much more gifting-friendly to me and also seems like a great last-minute option for people still on your list that have you stumped for ideas. A few things to note about giving Amazon Prime as a gift:
CES 2019, FaceTime bug, streaming the Super Bowl, Wi-Fi calling for Android phones.
Big-ticket electronics get all the attention, but these little extras are always appreciated.
